The Kolkata facility became the flagship endeavour as the MOTHER CENTRE for GENOME with a State-of-the-Art sprawling centre at Theatre Road making it the biggest facility of its kind in Eastern India. The centre offers the latest technologies in Fertility Treatment with a one of its kind Class-100 Clean Room of for its IVF Laboratory and OT Suites, a concept whilst being recommended and mandatory is available only in a few handful facilities worldwide. With over 15,000 sq.ft. spread over 3 floors and 2 buildings, the Kolkata Centre became GENOME’s crowning glory.
The Siliguri facility is designed exactly similar to the new Kolkata facility with the same technical and clinical excellence provided for at Kolkata. The Siliguri Centre is located in the City Centre complex at Matigara. The entire Ground Floor of one of the office blocks is dedicated to GENOME to house the superlative and unique facilities being offered by GENOME. This center became the FIRST such centre in Siliguri offering latest in infertility Treatment and is positioned as the Mother Centre of the North-East for GENOME.”
In the year 2015 Genome commissioned its Medinipur centre and commissioned its Raipur centre in early 2016.
Genome has an ambitious plan of rolling out 12 centres across India in the next 2 years.

Our Embryology team headed by Ms. Atreyee Chatterjee would be undergoing extensive training on this field prior to the initiation of this service. This process is ideal for ladies planning on late marriage or late pregnancies. Based on our protocols, occytes retrieved from their ovaries can be stored cryogenically which can later be thawed and used at a later date should the ladies need to go in for ART ever. The stored oocytes would help ladies plan their careers and families conveniently without having to worry about progressive deterioration of fertility with age. GENOME - The Fertility Centre announces the availability of IVM (In-Vitro Maturation) at its Kolkata centre from March, 2013 onwards. “In vitro oocyte maturation (IVM) permits the use of immature oocytes in IVF. IVM does not require ovarian stimulation and so can be offered to patients who are at risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. Immature oocyte recovery followed by in-vitro oocyte maturation and in vitro fertilization (IVF) is a promising new technology for the treatment of human infertility. The technology is attractive to potential oocyte donors, PCOS and infertile couples because of its reduced treatment intervention. Immature oocytes are recovered by ultrasound guided transvaginal follicular aspiration. Oocytes are matured in vitro for 36–48 h followed by intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). Embryos are cultured in vitro for 3 or 5 days before replacement. Assisted hatching is performed on a day 5 blastocyst stage embryo. GENOME - The fertility centre is proud to announce a very critical addition in its service basket as part of its continuous process of upgrading its technical and clinical skills to ensure best results. “Endometrial receptivity is a self-limited period in which the endometrial epithelium acquires a functional and transient ovarian steroid-dependent status that allows blastocyst adhesion. Termed as ‘the window of implantation’, this specific period opens 4–5 days after progesterone production or administration and closes after 9–10 days. Scientific knowledge on the endometrial receptivity process is fundamental for the understanding of human reproduction. Would like to understand more on the work that you are doing on Endometrial Receptivity Assays and similar such techniques.” Clinicans from GENOME would be undergoing elaborate training at Israel on this field prior to this service being initiated in mid-2013. .
